Icarus Aquanaut was born in the summer and fall of 2006, but the music hails from a time when it was okay to rock. Many people refer to this time as the 90s, or more particularly, the "good part" of the 90s. After recording an album in Cincinnati in 2007, Icarus went through lineup changes as well as varying periods of activity, until the band consisted of nearly all original members once again (plus a new drummer). We drink Evian. We throw televisions out of hotel room windows. We will see you on the road--and if not there, we're on the Internet.

We began as a five-piece, but have since moved on to become a four-piece band.  While we got press in our earlier days, we're not sure you can say we sound the same way that we used to.

We're also working slowly on an album of 12 songs (with 3 older songs we did with Hananel Mavity).  We're hoping to get a single together for the new album and have it ready for everyone this spring.
